A saw is required by anyone who is planning a home project that involves sawing a board. Everything that you might need to do can be achieved with the HD77 13 Amp 7-1/4-Inch Worm Drive Saw. If you purchase it you will probably have it for a long time. In case you actually have to say something uncomplimentary, you might say that it weighs a bit too much. And that fades into insignificance when you realize what it is capable of.
It comes with 13 Amps of worm drive strength packed into a die-cast aluminum frame designed to withstand any conditions you place on it, including any job site conditions of any professional construction site. The cut line is always completely unobscured due to the left-side blade. You won't have to watch for unpleasant kickbacks, becase the unit comes with an anti-kickback feature, and the precision-machined worm gear sets are beautifully engineered. The rear handle's textured grip offers superior control over the line of cut, while the high-strength aluminium usually specified for planes, here employed in the making of the foot, results in a smooth gliding motion, irrespective of the surface texture. The saw includes an oil pressure relief bellow therefore you don't end up with leaks, and there's a large quick-release lever for the depth as well as the bevel. The worm drive saw produced by Skil is simply fabulous when you use your right hand to work with. This saw is unlike other makes, because the placement of the blade allows you a clear view of your cutting line.
